Our goal is to maintain a secure, reliable, and fair hosting environment for all customers while ensuring transparency regarding service availability and account responsibilities.

Table of Contents #

1. Introduction #

At Quantum Racks, we are committed to providing dependable, secure, and high-performance hosting solutions for businesses, developers, agencies, and resellers. Maintaining a stable hosting environment requires cooperation between Quantum Racks and our customers.

This Suspension & Termination Policy outlines the circumstances under which hosting services may be suspended or permanently terminated due to unpaid invoices or violations of our policies. It also explains customer responsibilities regarding billing, data protection, backups, and acceptable use.

Timely payment of invoices helps ensure uninterrupted service, while compliance with our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), and other applicable policies helps protect our infrastructure and the experience of all customers.

By using any Quantum Racks service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms described in this policy.

2. Suspension Policy #

What is Account Suspension? #

Account suspension is the temporary restriction of access to one or more Quantum Racks services. During suspension, hosted services may become partially or completely inaccessible until the reason for suspension has been resolved.

Suspension is intended to encourage timely resolution of billing issues or policy violations while preserving the integrity and security of our platform.

Suspension Due to Non-Payment #

All invoices issued by Quantum Racks are due on the invoice due date specified within the customer billing portal and invoice.

If payment has not been received within three (3) calendar days after the invoice due date, Quantum Racks may suspend the affected service.

Suspended services may include, but are not limited to:

  • VPS Hosting instances
  • Dedicated Servers
  • Reseller Hosting accounts
  • Agency Hosting accounts
  • Websites
  • Email services
  • DNS services
  • Databases
  • Control panel access
  • API access
  • Related hosting features

During suspension:

  • Websites may become unavailable.
  • Administrative access may be restricted.
  • Email functionality may stop working.
  • Applications may become inaccessible.
  • DNS resolution may be interrupted.
  • Remote access may be disabled where applicable.

Suspension does not:

  • Cancel the hosting service.
  • Remove the customer’s obligation to pay outstanding invoices.
  • Waive late payment responsibilities.
  • Guarantee protection against future termination.

Once all outstanding invoices have been paid in full and payment verification has been successfully completed, Quantum Racks may restore the suspended service.

Restoration times vary depending on:

  • Payment verification
  • Service type
  • Infrastructure requirements
  • Technical review
  • System synchronization

Some services may be restored within a short period, while others may require additional processing time.

Important Note

Customers should always keep their billing information current and ensure invoices are paid before the due date. Failure to receive invoice reminders due to outdated contact information, spam filtering, mailbox issues, or any other reason does not remove the customer’s responsibility to pay invoices on time.

3. Termination Policy #

What is Account Termination? #

Account termination is the permanent cancellation of a hosting service.

Unlike suspension, termination generally results in permanent deletion of service data and cannot always be reversed.

Termination Due to Non-Payment #

If an invoice remains unpaid for seven (7) calendar days after its due date, Quantum Racks reserves the right to permanently terminate the affected service.

Termination may occur with or without prior notice, depending on operational, legal, or security requirements.

Following termination, Quantum Racks may permanently delete all associated resources, including but not limited to:

  • Websites
  • VPS instances
  • Dedicated Server configurations
  • Reseller Hosting accounts
  • Agency Hosting accounts
  • Databases
  • Email accounts
  • DNS zones
  • SSL configurations
  • User files
  • Backups
  • Snapshots
  • Logs
  • Scheduled tasks
  • Control panel settings
  • Custom configurations
  • Application data
  • Stored content
  • Any other information associated with the service

Once data has been permanently removed, Quantum Racks is under no obligation to recover, restore, or recreate it.

Customers are solely responsible for maintaining independent backups of all important data before termination occurs.

Warning

Permanently terminated services may not be recoverable. Deleted data, websites, virtual servers, databases, email accounts, backups, DNS records, and related configurations may be permanently lost.

4. Immediate Suspension or Immediate Termination #

To protect our infrastructure, customers, and legal obligations, Quantum Racks reserves the right to immediately suspend or permanently terminate any service, with or without prior notice, whenever we reasonably determine that continued operation presents a security, operational, legal, or reputational risk.

Immediate action may be taken for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Violation of the Terms of Service
  • Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy
  • Illegal activities
  • Spam or unsolicited email campaigns
  • Malware distribution or hosting
  • Phishing websites
  • Credential theft
  • Hacking attempts
  • Unauthorized system access
  • Botnet participation
  • Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks
  • Brute-force attacks
  • Network scanning
  • Exploit hosting
  • Cryptocurrency mining where prohibited
  • Copyright infringement
  • Distribution of pirated software
  • Unauthorized media distribution
  • Adult content where prohibited
  • Resource abuse
  • Excessive CPU usage
  • Excessive RAM usage
  • Excessive disk I/O
  • Network abuse
  • Payment fraud
  • Chargebacks
  • Identity fraud
  • False account information
  • Repeated abuse complaints
  • Security threats
  • Activities affecting other customers
  • Activities disrupting network stability
  • Violation of applicable local, national, or international laws
  • Any activity Quantum Racks reasonably considers harmful to its infrastructure, employees, partners, customers, or reputation

This list is provided as guidance only and is not exhaustive. Quantum Racks reserves the right to determine whether specific activities violate company policies or threaten the integrity of its services.

5. Customer Responsibilities #

Customers play an essential role in maintaining uninterrupted hosting services.

Each customer is responsible for:

  • Paying all invoices before the due date.
  • Keeping billing information accurate and current.
  • Monitoring billing emails and account notifications.
  • Maintaining current contact information.
  • Following the Terms of Service.
  • Following the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintaining independent backups of important data.
  • Securing websites, applications, databases, and servers.
  • Keeping software updated.
  • Protecting passwords and authentication credentials.
  • Promptly responding to abuse or security notifications.

Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may result in suspension or termination of services.

6. Data Responsibility #

Customers retain full responsibility for all data stored within their hosting services.

Quantum Racks provides hosting infrastructure but cannot guarantee protection against accidental deletion, software failures, customer mistakes, cyberattacks, hardware failures, or other unforeseen events unless backups are explicitly included within the purchased hosting plan.

Unless specifically stated in the service description:

  • Backups are not guaranteed.
  • Backup retention periods are not guaranteed.
  • Backup availability is not guaranteed.
  • Backup restoration is not guaranteed.

Customers should never rely solely on server-side backups.

If an account is suspended or terminated, stored data may become inaccessible or permanently deleted.

Quantum Racks accepts no responsibility for data loss resulting from:

  • Suspension
  • Termination
  • Customer error
  • Software vulnerabilities
  • Malware
  • Unauthorized access
  • Hardware failures
  • Force majeure events
  • Third-party software failures

7. Outstanding Payments #

Suspension or termination of a service does not remove the customer’s obligation to pay outstanding invoices.

Customers remain responsible for all unpaid charges incurred before service suspension or termination.

Quantum Racks reserves the right to:

  • Collect outstanding balances.
  • Suspend additional services linked to the same customer account.
  • Decline future service requests.
  • Require advance payment for future orders.
  • Charge applicable administrative, recovery, or reinstatement fees where permitted.
  • Take appropriate legal or collection actions when necessary.

Continued non-payment may negatively affect eligibility for future services.

8. Reinstatement Policy #

Services suspended due to unpaid invoices may be eligible for reinstatement after:

  1. All outstanding invoices have been fully paid.
  2. Payment verification has been completed.
  3. Any required administrative or reinstatement fees have been paid.
  4. Quantum Racks determines the service remains recoverable.

Reinstatement is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and is not guaranteed.

The ability to restore a service depends on numerous factors, including:

  • Time since suspension
  • Infrastructure status
  • Data availability
  • Resource allocation
  • Technical limitations
  • Internal operational procedures

Services that have already been permanently terminated may no longer exist.

If recovery is not possible, customers may need to purchase a new hosting service and deploy their own backups.

9. Exceptions #

Quantum Racks reserves the right to shorten, extend, bypass, or otherwise modify the suspension and termination timelines described in this policy whenever reasonably necessary.

Such situations may include, but are not limited to:

  • Protection of company infrastructure
  • Protection of customers
  • Prevention of abuse
  • Emergency security incidents
  • Legal investigations
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Court orders
  • Fraud prevention
  • Network stability
  • Critical infrastructure maintenance
  • Public safety considerations

These exceptions are applied at the sole discretion of Quantum Racks whenever necessary to protect the platform and its users.

10. Policy Updates #

Quantum Racks may revise, amend, or update this Suspension & Termination Policy at any time.

Changes become effective immediately upon publication unless otherwise specified.

Customers are encouraged to periodically review the latest version of this policy to remain informed of current procedures and requirements.

Continued use of Quantum Racks services following publication of updated policies constitutes acceptance of those changes, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Contact Information #

We understand that unexpected circumstances can sometimes affect billing or account management.

If you believe you may have difficulty making a payment before your invoice becomes overdue, we strongly encourage you to contact our Billing Team as early as possible. Early communication may allow us to discuss available options before service interruption occurs.

Customers are also welcome to contact our Support Team if they have any questions regarding this policy, account status, payment verification, reinstatement requests, or any other billing-related matter.
